We all have to make sacrifices

There's one thing that I’ve noticed about being a magazine editor and it’s that you have to make difficult decisions at times. This issue of CSS is a case in point and with the season being at its height and with our Isle of Wight feature taking up a humongous proportion of space, there are several articles that I have had to hold over. So, if you were expecting to see your related feature in this issue, I can only apologise and say that I will publish it as soon as possible.
It would be easy for someone to say: “Why not add a few more pages?” If only it was that simple, I’d have done it ages ago, so unless you decide to bombard our publishers with thousands of ‘more pages for CSS’ letters, I can’t see that situation changing in the near future.
Back onto the subject of the IoW. I hope you had a good time and everything lived up to your expectations – especially if you were attending for the first time. If you were lucky (or unfortunate) enough to bump into me or any of my colleagues, then there’s a chance there might be a picture of you inside this issue. Let’s hope that you were behaving yourself at the time the picture was taken – remember the camera never lies! The front cover picture of this issue reflects the scooterist atmosphere that can be experienced on the white isle.
