More haste, less speed…

Those editorial gremlins have been working their magic yet again, so firstly, I must apologise for an error that slipped through the net during our last hectic magazine deadline. I hold my hands up – it was me; I should have picked up on this at the last proof stage, but in all the turmoil of going to press, I didn’t.
If you were confused by the pictures attached to our two news pieces relating to shock absorbers it was because the wrong pictures were transposed between the two editorials. We apologise to readers for any confusion and also to PM Tuning and VE (UK) for the error.
Cock o’ the North
The scooter on the cover of this issue is certainly a stunner – so much so that it won ‘Best of Show’ at last year’s end of season Bridlington Show. Owner Ian Ellis is a member of the Groundhogs SC, County Durham and has every right to be proud of his scooter and, although he tells us that most of the work was done by others, we think he has certainly earned himself the right to be called the Cock o’ the North!
Keep it coming
We have loads of nostalgic material still waiting to be published, so I’d like to take the opportunity of thanking those who have supplied it for their patience and understanding. However, this doesn’t mean that we’re not still on the lookout for even more material. If you have anything suitable from the 1950s, 60s, 70s or 80s – please, keep it coming so that we can relay your nostalgic memories and experiences to our readers.
