Scooterists in central Lincolnshire were treated to a fantastic afternoon’s entertainment on 23 August, when local Woodhall Spa scooterist Mat Tuck, organised a charity event on behalf of ‘Help For Heroes’.

Lazy Sunday afternoon

As well as a Custom Show with trophies for ‘Best Lambretta’ and ‘Best Vespa’, over 200 scooterists were given a musical treat with a solo set from Dave Walker (Lincoln Knights) and the headline band for the day ‘The Jam’d’ playing a blinding set, despite having a few technical problems. Everyone enjoyed themselves and over £300 was raised for charity funds. The proud father of the day award went to Shane Lowe of Generations SC, whose daughter Rebecca, celebrated her ninth birthday at the event by posing on dad’s scooter.
