Hi-vis petition

The Motorcycle Action Group (MAG) has posted a petition on the UK government website to register the group’s concern over the French and Irish Governments’ decision to mandate high visibility clothing for bike riders.

MAG is seeking the support of the British Government in opposing the plans that seriously conflict with the self-expression that is an integral feature of the motorcycling lifestyle. They have stated that they believe that high visibility clothing is a ‘red herring’ that diverts attention from the true causes of accidents and will do little, if anything to reduce the numbers of accidents involving bikes.
