Goodbye 2011

Doesn’t time go quickly? By the time you read this, we will be heading into the Christmas and the New Year. I don’t know where this year has gone and it only seems like yesterday that I finally managed to get access to my ‘scooter shed’ after it became completely inaccessible in one of the worst (and coldest) winters I have ever seen. The experts reckon that it will be just as bad this winter, but I certainly hope not.
At this time of year, all that remains for me to do is to wish you the compliments of the season and thank you all for your loyal readership over the past year.
Friends like us
Now for those of you that may have attempted to add CSS as a friend on facebook, we thought we’d better let you know that we’ve had to restart it again, due to us not getting it right the first time around. We’d originally set up a Facebook site which attracted the maximum limit of 5000 friends, still leaving us with another 1000 waiting to join. Apparently setting it up this way is meant to be for personal use, rather than being suitable for us as a magazine. We’ve now corrected this error, but can’t transfer any existing friends from the old site. Consequently, you will need to go to www.facebook.com/ScooteristScene and tick the ‘like’ box to rejoin us.
If you have one of those new smart-phones, it’s even simpler. Just scan the image above – you’ll also find it scattered elsewhere around this issue – and it will take you directly to our facebook page, where again, you just need to click the ‘like’ button.
